Notifying School
If your child is unwell and will be absent from school please notify us via email to attendance@allsaintshigh.lancs.sch.uk, or by calling our attendance line on 01706 23 37 07.
Sickness and Diarrhoea
'Tummy bug' symptoms can be similar to those of COVID-19. If your child is experiencing symptoms please get a COVID-19 test before sending them into school.
If your child has experienced a sickness and/ or diarrhoea tummy upset (confirmed not to be COVID-19), they must stay off school for 48 hours after the last episode.

Coughs and Colds
The symptoms of coughs and colds are similar to those of COVID-19. If your child is experiencing these symptoms please get a COVID-19 test before sending them into school.
Pupil who have coughs and colds (which are confirmed not to be COVID-19) are generally able to attend school, but schools do not have on-site medical staff, so if symptoms are bad they may need to stay at home to rest and recuperate.

Flu
The symptoms of flu are similar to those of COVID-19. If your child is experiencing these symptoms please get a COVID-19 test before sending them into school.
Cold and flu symptoms are similar, but flu tends to be more severe.
Pupil who have flu (which are confirmed not to be COVID-19) are generally unable to attend school as they will need to stay at home to rest and recuperate.
